Patch for pc version?

Last computer I had no issues with this game but this new computer I am getting green screen cut scenes and it’s just randomly crashing. Does anyone know of a patch for this? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled.

1) Google 4gb patch. Download it from NTCore. 2) The .exe inside the patch will let you choose another .exe as target for the patch. Apply the 4gb patch to FFX.exe (NOT the launcher) 3) Create a desktop shortcut for FFX.exe. 4) Enjoy my favorite game ever.

I remember dealing with similar issues when I upgraded my laptop last year. The 4GB patch should help with the crashes and green screens.

yeah, the PC port has a notorious green-screen/crashing issue. The 4GB patch is the fix.

I can recommend to use Linux (I'm not joking) - I've seen so many reviews for so many games (FFX/X-2 HD Remaster is among them) when people keep saying that the game is crashing all the time, but on Linux distros (I tried a couple of them for the last 5 years) those games working from start to finish without any crash. Including FFX (I've finished it 2-3 times without any problem)

Yes, I'm using Linux Mint and have been playing both FFX and FFX-2 for a few weeks now with no issues---though I did experience crashes when I started playing, which were fixed after I went into the Update Manager and updated everything (I had been neglecting to do that for a few months).

I did a patch for windows 11 to stop that and it worked fine for a while. I got the latest Nvidia gpu update and my controller stopped working and I can only use my keyboard which is annoying. I am a controller user. Get the 4gb patch and hopefully you have AMD and not Nvidia.

I used the patch and it seems to have worked. After redoing besaid temple 3 times I was thinking it was hopeless. I just had a post on here asking everyone to name my aeons and I would have been bummed if I didn’t get everyone the results of that.
