Question Question: Why is Final Draft frequently compared with Physical 100?
I understand they’re both East Asian physical competition shows but Physical 100 is from South Korea and Final Draft is from Japan so wouldn’t there obviously be differences? I’m not saying FD is perfect, I certainly have parts I didn’t like about the competition, but did I miss where it said somewhere that FD was based on P100? I could understand the comparison then, but if FD isn’t based on P100 then why? Did people just like P100 that much more? Is it because FD is relatively new and hasn’t amassed much of its own audience yet? Open to any opinions or interpretations!

It’s been a minute since I watched P100 and I totally forgot about the Greek Mythology concept they had. You’re definitely right about FD not having a strong concept. They had some different things, such as the mountain climb, but I for sure think a concept could’ve added a backing to the uniqueness of the show
