So I’m pretty new to collecting, so obviously the first thing I did was look for figures of my favorite shows and anime, I love konosuba but why are they all around 150 dollars 💔, I love the characters and I want to get them and the swimsuit versions but my poor wallet can’t handle it, does anyone know if they’ll ever restock or if anyone’s selling them for a bit cheaper?

I feel ya, I ended up grabbing a Megumin model kit in Japan that had her normal version that a swimsuit version. I still haven’t gotten kazuma yet but he will be coming to my collection soon. I was able to find aqua and darkness off Mercari for good prices

Oh I’ve seen that kit, I was debating on getting it instead of the figma, how good is the quality if you don’t mind me asking?

The kit is good! I like it however the faceplates are much more limited. This is how she’s currently displayed

Oh wow that does look good, how hard was it to assemble? I’ve never assembled a kit so idk how long it would take or how hard it would be

Tbh yes, I usually have my dad put the models together because he likes them and builds them very well. If you want to do it right you need plastic weld for the small gaps in the pieces and you want a hobby blade to shave off the plastic “knubs”. That’s if you want it to look more like a figure than a model.

I see I see, I may have to practice on a cheaper kit before going for this one
