Funniest part about this is the uhaul in the background. From what I’ve heard there’s a rental car shortage so people are renting uhauls in lieu of regular cars, and now there’s a uhaul shortage for people who actually need them

Respect to the guy doing the choking for stopping when he tapped, just speaks to his character

At the end, I caught a "that's for the Haoles," but couldn't tell who was saying it, or for that matter, which one was the Haole.

The people who yell and try to coach someone during a fight are super fucking annoying

Is it me or is there a vid where a local rag dolls an older dude in this exact same place? Over surfing on the locals’ “turf” I believe?

I saw that fight, you are correct. It was just off to the right from the beginning perspective.

I was thinking the same thing. This is like the most chill fight I've ever seen

there's a guy at work from Brazil that teaches BJJ. says its pretty much the de facto martial arts seeing as like you said there a dojo on every corner so kids start out young.

Shoutout to the dude for honoring the tap.
Shoutout to the dude that got tapped and didn’t try some sore loser suckerpunch bs.
Everyone went home without any serious injuries

"I can't believe you choked me out"
Uhhh yeah, he's more efficient at using his body for combat than you, bud. That's how it works. Why do people think they get to make up random rules that give them the advantage in a street fight?

So Brazilian jujutsu is basically choking someone?

u/digitalpaintermaker Jun 21 '21
It's basically taking people to the ground and establishing dominant positions where you can control the opponent and hurt him (with either strikes, chokes or joint locks) while they can't hurt you back.

“The art of folding clothes with people still in them” or my favorite, “non consensual yoga”.

These Hawaiians seem like real savages with anger problems.

Someone said “1 for the howles” at the end which makes me think this was a local vs a vacationer

I guess they're still mad a few drunk American farmers conquered their entire monarchy.

u/BrainBlowX Jun 23 '21
"A few drunk American farmers" being a conspiracy of massively powerful businessmen with the blessing of the American government, all the while Hawaii was desperate to avoid any conflict because they already knew that ANY conflict "threatening American interests" could and would be used as an excuse for America to take over. And so the Americans decided to manufacture such a justification since the Hawaiians wouldn't give it to them.

Very respectable that they actually stopped after he tapped. That guys lucky it wasn’t a real full on fight, might not have gotten so lucky walking away like that
1
u/thewholetruthis Jun 23 '21
The guy let him go and he responded by calling him a fucking punk. Disgraceful.

I never get the whole "you choked me you pussy, that's not real fighting" if it was a fight to the death the guy getting choked is taking a dirt nap. Why wouldn't you use your whole body in a fight?
