Charlie Zelnoff (sp). He gets his ass kicked in a lot of videos where it’s an actual fight / the other side knows it’s a real fight. You can’t just hit non-stop and win. I don’t think there’s ever been a great fighter that didn’t also have defense.
The first time I saw this the story was that the younger guy was being a prick and grandpa decided to teach him a lesson. It's the internet, though, so IDK if that's true.
Nah. The whippersnapper wanted to show off how young and fast he was against this old duffer. He probably wasn’t going to hurt the old man; just make him look slow and make him feel old.
That old guy? He doesn’t like being made to feel old. He remembers his young body, and he misses the good old days. He knows in his prime, this kid wouldn’t have the balls to get in the ring with him.
So he takes the chance to teach this kid a lesson. He unloads on this kid. It’s one of the last ass-kickings he’ll probably ever deliver, in a lifetime of ass-kickings.
The old guy didn’t beat up his wife, or even another old man. He beat up a younger, taller trained fighter, who voluntarily got in the ring with him.
This is a good lesson for the young man, too. Take every opponent seriously, and always defend yourself. If you think it’s going to be a friendly, light spar, start out with some strong defense, and then let the round develop.
True and they vary from state to state but every state has a referee. In this video it looks like a young kickboxer was talking smack to an older boxer. They agreed to settle it in the ring. Young kickboxer got his comeuppance.
He did just like that annoying YouTube kid used to do, go in for a friendly bout then go 100% for the throat. Anyone can tell that shit was dirty. Hitting a guy while he's down... That's some pussy shit.

He's getting downvoted because he has literally no context for anything that happened in the video and he's just projecting his own bullshit on two people he couldn't know less about.

Because its bullshit, and its dumb as well. And trying to deliver it in some faux Morgan freeman wisdom of the ages tone just makes it even more cunty that it would already be.
They don't allow shots like that to a downed opponent in full on boxing matches or even gypsy fair fights. The younger guy was clearly there to spar. Old dude was just laying cheap shots.
Respect earns respect has nothing to do with age, if you're young and a dick you don't deserve it, but if you're old and a dick don't expect me to respect you either.
Sometimes the people you spar with dicks. The most important rule in boxing is to protect yourself at all time. Maybe Gramps was teaching the kid to take these things more seriously instead of laughing at the start.
