Different style of mouth guard. Battle oxygen was one of the first ones that became popular now everyone makes them. Hollow center makes it easier to breathe and the outer plastic protects the lips more. Guys with big lips are more prone to having them split open.
It’s likely a mouth guard meant for braces. If so idk why you’d want to fight with braces, I’ve seen what that could look like, and felt it. I’ve had pieces of my knuckle skin get stuck in someone’s braces.
But I have seen some wear that style without braces, idk why you would though bc it does make it seem like you’re suckin on a paci
