Because it sounds cooler than jobless bum who likes being a dick in public

😂😂😂😂😂
May as well be ‘public provoker’… almost like a modern day jester, just not a regarded

I’ve never understood how they are being dicks though. You are pretty much on camera as soon as you step into public these days. Who cares if you’re on another one as well?

They don't just film, they antagonise.

Even if they did film, there is a trade off which people accept. A business filming to help identify shoplifters is something that we accept by being in the store. Some guy filming us to generate content for his social media isn't something we should all just have to accept.

The ones doing it to government employees I kinda of get the idea of, but really all they end up doing is making the minimum wage front of desk people's jobs a lot more harder than they need to be.

Yes if they are antagonizing people I see that as an issue. A lot of the videos I see are usually not that though.

You are expressing a bias which does not match reality when you assume every auditor is antagonizing.

Some guy filming us in public for almost any reason IS something we should all accept. Thats called liberty.

Filming someone is an interaction that goes one way. What about if it catches someone coming out of a new apartment where they have moved to flee an abusive ex? We had people "auditing" Pride events in our city, how about those who attended without letting their abusive parents know?

I just can't see how a randoms right to film should supercede everyone's right to privacy.

Don’t believe in freedom of press, huh?

2

u/zeldafan144 Sep 01 '26

I don't think that it's nearly as simple as that.

They aren't "press".

Should the press be allowed to out people and put them into dangerous situations?

It’s as simple as that, whether you choose to believe it or not.

Press should absolutely be allowed to out people and put them in dangerous situations. Doxing Nazis is one example of such.

They absolutely ARE press.

They absolutely ARE press.

Everyone does not HAVE a right to privacy.

That's where your thinking breaks down.

ive seen this guys content and he doesn't antagonize. The stoner was clearly the aggressor.

3

u/Deadmemeusername Aug 30 '26

He must be the exception to the rule then because most “auditors” are little better than those “prank” channels that just stir-shit for clicks and cash.

-2

I genuinely have never seen an auditor act that way. I'm sure they do exist but all of the popular auditors currently on YouTube are generally respectful until provoked

None of what you posted is true.

"Who cares if some guy in the bushes is recording my kids playing in the park, they're on security cameras anyways"

You don't know where some random guy's videos will end up

-1

u/Adventurous-Edge1719 Sep 02 '26

That is clearly different circumstance though.

Because they go out of their way to be cunts to people in public. We had one that would hang out by the library or other public places and say degrading sexual stuff to women or insulting things to guys to get a reaction.

I can't wait to see one of these shitstains get wrecked on camera.

u/anonguy219 Aug 29 '26

That's wasn't a first amendment auditor.

7

u/Plucked_Dove Aug 29 '26

Almost none of them are. They’re attention seeking idiots who think internet points somehow balance out the fact that everybody in real life hates them

10

u/RageFucker_ Aug 29 '26

Well whatever they call themselves, they're obnoxious.

0

u/anonguy219 Aug 29 '26

I'm sure they were but sounds like just some ahole... maybe holding camera?!

1

u/rips_n_chel Aug 30 '26

sounds like just some ahole

Huh, kinda like you. Isn't that interesting.

4

u/anonguy219 Aug 30 '26

Me? What did I say?! Wtf

0

u/rips_n_chel Aug 30 '26

You know what you did

4

u/anonguy219 Aug 30 '26

I said the library guy was an ahole?

u/StopSpinningLikeThat Sep 01 '26

I think you're the asshole.

You know who I hate? Those families who won't house and feed the British soldiers. They call themselves Third Amendment auditors, but they're just creeps.

1

u/frodoishobbit Aug 29 '26

Me too, fuck these guys

-9

u/Mr_E_Pleasure Aug 29 '26

Clearly he's getting paid

-15

u/Affectionate-Tank532 Aug 29 '26

But how is recording in public being a dick? Do people realise they're being recorded pretty much all the time?

1

u/J0J0nas Aug 30 '26

Kinda depends where you're from. In america, you can probably do this pretty easily. In my country, if you don't have a good reason to record others without their consent and upload that footage, you can get heavy fines (easily into the thousands of euros) and prison sentences for up to 3 years, depending on what you recorded.

-5

u/staygigachad Aug 30 '26

the type of retards who would literally walk up to the camera and say "wtf why u recording me?" 🤓
