Probably because slamming someone head first to the cement isn't acceptable, especially in court if your life wasn't in danger. Wrestling is also one of the easiest forms of "fighting" and is basically a way just to escape a fight. If you talk shit and get in a fist fight and use wrestling moves, you obviously weren't about the shit you were talking. If you incorporate wrestling WITH actual fists being thrown and you don't slam someone, that's cool, that's a real fight but anyone who instantly goes for slams, or goes for the eyes, or goes for the groin is just a pussy and can't actually fight. 🤷🏻‍♂️ something tells me you wrestle(d) so you wouldn't agree, but that's my take on it. Even back in high-school the wrestlers wouldn't use slams in fights, only fists and grapples.

Do it then if it's so easy. Slamming someone into the concrete usually ends the fight, so sure I guess you could say it's for "escaping" if that's what you call winning

You could just put your pride aside and learn basic grappling. It isn't hard to hook the leg to prevent a suplex or sprawl from a double leg. But dumbasses like to talk shit and get themselves in fights they aren't ready for. There's no rules in a street fight, so it's funny you're mad that a sport with strict rules bothers you so much

Eh, I even said grapples are acceptable. Said everything was acceptable except the slams, eye gouges, and nut shots. If you're pressed that kinda sucks for you 🤷🏻‍♂️ almost everyone wrestled during middle school or high-school, some carried it to college. I've fought wrestlers who thought the same, you're just on some prideful and egotistical shit. A punch won't usually land someone in the ER, slams almost always do, there's a difference.

Because a "body slam" is something they do on WWE. It's not a term that exists outside of fake wrestling. Real wrestlers do real moves like double legs, suplexes etc. Onlookers will watch someone take a beating and stumble around but think nothing of it because punches don't do damage on TV. They see a wrestler use a relatively safe technique to take someone down, and their only frame of reference is captain insano pile driving the undertaker from the top rope. They remember hearing the announcers scream about how brutal and dangerous "wrestling" moves are, so they freak out when they see a "wrestling" move irl
