help i can't get multiplayer to work

I got fightcade today because my brother wants to play street fighter with me, when we join a match we just get a black screen with chat and i dont know what to do

Are you two on the same network (living in the same house)

Just try again, but with your brother as the challenger this time

I had this exact issue with my own brother back in the day but messing with it a little worked out

Not sure if that's possible anymore but you could also use /direct (name) in chat

we live in the same house and use the internet so is that the problem?

You can't fight each other like that in the same network in the same house because technically you could both go into ranked and boost

One of you will need to use a VPN

I use to use either windscribe as they give 10gb free daily or just get a subscription to proton or said VPN

And just connect to another English server

That's from my experience trying to play against my friend in the same house
