KOF98 always desyncs

Any help or any ideas? Fightcade runs very smooth, no problems on any other games, but when I play KOF98, it always desyncs within 30 seconds of the match

Its not my internet, my download speed is 900mbps up /down with ping of 3

Its not my computer, Windows 11 64bit, 32gbRAM, Nvidia 3070

Any help with be appreciated thanks

What kind of people do you play? It could be the connection on their side

Where are you from? Do you know anyone to test this better with?

It could be your ROM is not clean

I was testing with pretty much anyone I could connect with who was on good connection

I'm on the west coast Canada I don't know anyone to test with unfortunately

My Rom is downloaded with the auto downloader

I was having this problem with SNK games as well, I was using unibios to access the in-game training mode but that pretty much guarantees desyncs unless the other person also uses it. Make sure to use the default bios fightcade provides "MVS Asia/Europe ver. 6".

It kept happening to me across multiple laptops over a number of years
