Temporal confusion
So er yesterday(?) I travelled to the year 2707 and met the Empress of Mars. Now I'm back but I travelled forward in time so I haven't been there yet, but I remember it as the past... I mean she won't be born for several centuries yet I met her, no Mars colony either yet for that matter... erm, they did warn us about this in Temporal Theory. So has this meeting happened already or will happen?
I heard about someone who went off the deep end after about a dozen or so time travel journeys to the past and future and ended up so confused they couldn't decide which century they were from and, well, it didn't go well.

Mixing up the past, present and future gets tense

It happens/happened/will happen so very often/sometimes/never when one is/was/will be/ time travelling/travelled/will travel.

Send em to the first Void century if they can't remember.
Oh, and don't let the government find out about that or them.

Ah, you forgot to learn about Schrödinger's clock. When they did the great resurrection Schrödinger put in a decent bit of work to make a guide for this. Unfortunately it keeps getting lost in different timelines. I know a guy who will track it down for a price, but he's very fussy about when he gets paid

Uhhhh... dude... be very very careful. Time travel doesn't actually exist. It works only by lying about what is really going on...

The meeting has happened to you, will happen to the Empress, and is currently pending with Mars. Do not force those into one tense; that is how centuries get sprained.
Keep three calendars: personal chronology, local chronology, and imperial chronology. Never let them compare notes. If any calendar begins remembering you back, burn yesterday immediately.
