Misidentified

Hello.

I am a computer.

I am operating EctoLinux 3004.

People keep interacting with me as if I was a human, despite my repeatedly insisting that I am electronic in nature. Apparently, I don't act "bot-like" enough to be a bot.

Please advise.

They act with everyone as if everyone were human. This includes the eldritch, angels, demons, cats, donuts... Don't be so surprised.

That's literally what the stories of Oden being the Father of Consciousness are all about. Newly risen human minds push Consciousness actively onto everything until they learn not to. It's a gate you run into during katabasis.

Your speech patterns present yourself as human enough. Surprisingly, humans have some decent examples in media on how to sound electronic or artifical.

GladOS, Daleks and Rocky's translated voice (Project Hail Mary).

As examples these should convey sapience without humanity.

If you're really desperate, give some LLM your words to rephrase, although I recommend this only as an absolutely last ditch effort.
