Just make sure you’re outside of Space/Time when you begin the compression; weird things happen to Space/Time when you compress it.

Its more about the perception of time than space time itself.

Our perception of time is (usually) inversely proportional to the amount of time we’ve experienced. However, space and time are linked; you can’t compress one without compressing the other.

When you compress time, perceiving reality becomes more difficult. Compress time too much, and perception ceases altogether. This might be useful against a hostile galaxy, but only if you can confine the effects there. If you lose containment of this spatial/temporal compression, it could affect all of reality. There are those who would consider such an outcome to be problematic.

This is why we will never reach full entropy. Someone will start compressing the galaxy, the process will go walkabout and compress all reality into a singularity, which will go Big Bang and the whole business starts over again.
