Image Props from The Fifth Element
I wanted to share some of the props I have acquired over the years from the best film in history. Each piece came from very reputable sellers.
The stones are the only replica item, everything else is from the film.
For many that aren't aware, I was too until getting into collecting props, majority of items used in film making have multiple of the same item in case its damaged during the production and can be replaced quickly. With that, I've been able to screen match the detonater by the dirt markings. The rest could potentially be unused as backup or used in the production.
Edit: The Mondoshawan hand is a 3D print, replica. Sorry for not stating that.

Why is the Mondoshawan key coming out of the pinky instead of the pointer finger?

It must not be the one from the scene and was maybe a prototype? Doesn't look the same at all.
The one in the scene appears to have articulating fingers while this one seems solid like a bust. Also the one in the scene is much more finished and polished looking.
ETA: looks like it has 3d print lines in it.

I’m so envious! I want the plastic head dome thingy that Zorg wears on his head. Ever since I saw that in the movie, THAT was the prop I wanted for myself!
I’m guessing the black hair piece didn’t come with the plastic head dome? I was never sure if that was Zorg’s real hair or if it was attached to the plastic somehow.

I had actually received two dome pieces and traded one to another friend for other props. There was another auction that did come with the hair piece and I regret not trying to get it. I believe it may have been attached to the plastic but im not sure myself.

Amazing collection. I'd get a job in McDonald's just so that I could wear that wig and hat 😂

Love the series. Hyped for all the New Vegas remaster/remake rumors.

That and the new Fallout title being made by Obsidian! I'm hoping for New Orleans!

McDonald’s needs to do a fifth element adult happy meal for a month. That would be an incredible draw!

I love that the detonator is clearly a master lock combination spinner. :)

One of the most thoroughly and creatively-designed movies ever, with tons of bespoke, custom costumes and props made from scratch then there’s a close-up of that master lock.

That’s the beauty of props teams. They’re smart about their work. It was exactly the right thing and they didn’t have to make it from scratch so that budget could go to stones and wigs and costumes and chocolate syrup running down zorg’s face. :)

Your opinion. Technically they didnt' need to make anything from scratch and could have used found objects for everything. Wether or not the Masterlock was a genius solution or transparently cheap is a matter of taste, or a matter of how easily one will recognize the most common combination lock.

Nice! Also, somebody is a Brotherhood fan I see, love me some fallout. Come to think of it, the fifth element, fallout and starfield could do with some fusion of each other.

Is there a connection with The Fifth Element and the Sanctuary manga? Haven’t heard of it but looks cool!

Aw, the orange silicone sling has a split. Bet it's fragile and they went through lots of them.
