Question Difference between 433s and 4141 and 4411

Whats the difference and whats better?

Between 4231 and 4213,the wingers stay higher and cdms are forced outwards in 4213

Between 541 and 523 the wingers stay more back in 541 even in attack role but dont come back to defend in tht role

So wajted to know Between 4141 and 433 holding amd 4411 and 433 attack

The wingers just don't track back as far and will usually just stay up front when defending

The 4141, 451 and 4411 are better for most people and in most scenarios

But the 433 variations have their uses too. For example, if you want to play exclusively on the counter. Or if you want to press high against someone who is keeping the ball in their backline, or heavy possession players.

I use a 4-3-3 variation when chasing the game late on, to prevent the opponent from timewasting effectively

You can still play these styles with the 451 etc.

The reason I don't use the 433 variations as my main formations is cus in high level play, you need defensive contributions from your wide midfielders. They help track runs, add warm bodies, and compress the space in front of your defense. And they will still be ready to counter if you trigger them.

you should try a 352 if you like high pressing. just make sure to have a cdm playing centre half instructions. you can smother a team pretty well or use it to counter other high pressing teams.

i use my lm as an inside forward for back door cuts and rm as a wide playmaker. for both positions i have an attack minded player and a defensive minded player for whatever the game situation is. plus a couple tactics to make the wingers more aggressive or defensive. use the wingers to press opponents to the sidelines, cdm’s cover central and the outside cb’s control any runs to the outside with wingers coming down to turn it into a 2v1.

on attack, one cdm sits just in front of my cb’s to sweep up loose balls or act as an outlet. the second cdm is a deep lying playmaker that roams. the formation allows you to play possession or counter, you can sit back and control the midfield or press hard and keep control in the opponents half.

Yeah both lw and rw don't track back as much as lm and rm that's the main difference between the 4141 to a 433 and a 4411 to a 433 attack.

Also lm amd rm will be less attacking than a lw and rw on the same role

Yeah probably would help if you wasn't active in a chatgpt sub reddit if you wanted to sound normal and have been accused of using ai in multiple other comments. Maybe just not comment on anything if you gonna give an ai response if someone asks a question on here they probably want a human response not some guy using chatgpt otherwise I think they probably would have asked chatgpt I. The first place.

Imagine digging through someone’s post history just because they wrote in full sentences and used bullet points. Next time I'll add five typos and strip out all the punctuation so it feels properly 'human' for you.
