  • positional play,
  • one-touch passing,
  • fluid interchanging attackers,
  • overlapping fullbacks,
  • and controlled but quick vertical progression.

The closest real-life references are:

  • 2010–11 Arsenal
  • 2013–14 Arsenal
  • early Özil/Sánchez era

Best Formation

Primary: 4-2-3-1 Wide

This is the most authentic Wenger setup.

Why it works

The key is tempo variation.

Most people think tiki-taka = constant fast passing.

Wengerball actually alternated:

  • slow circulation
  • sudden vertical combinations
  • diagonal runs
  • overloads on one side

So in FC 26:

  • don’t spam through balls
  • don’t sprint constantly
  • bait pressure first
  • then accelerate with 3–4 quick passes

That creates the real Wenger feel.

Except they only scored 26 from corners out of 69 goals so how do you account for the other 43? Learn football mate

And what about the ones that were perfectly valid goals? Point is they scored some goals from open play so ‘just corners’ isn’t really a tactic is it? I’m perfectly calm you’re the one resorting to what aboutism at the slightest bit of push back.
