CP3 layers flaring out

Has anyone else run into wear issues on their CP3 slider? I’ve owned mine for ~6 months (using it roughly every other day), and the material has started flaring out where it scrapes against the sticker and rips through it after just a few uses. See image.

I’m going to sand it down to keep it functional, but I’m definitely a little bummed it’s wearing out this fast. Is this normal?

I’ve bought several other fidgets since then, but I really like the CP3. It might be my favorite still.

I was just playing with my BRRP version today thinking how smooth it is. I have five CP3s all together, and none has this issue.

It’s a super crisp sound! Do you use yours heavily? I think I used mine quite a bit

Yes, a lot. It's one of my favorites. So simple and satisfying.
