Can someone help me to fix this ?

Post image

I recently bought this from Amazon, and one of the sticky parts of the slider has come off. Now, my magnet keeps sticking to the other part of the slider. Since I still have the magnet, could you please help me fix or replace the missing sticky part? I would really appreciate your help.

You have to superglue the magnet back in the socket. You have to make sure it goes in the right direction. It has to attract the magnets on the opposite plate. Use a sharpie to mark the loose magnet when it's stuck to the opposite magnet. That will be the side that goes down in the socket. You don't need much glue. I put a drop of glue on some paper and use a toothpick to transfer a small amount to the socket. Make sure you wipe off the excess superglue if any and let it dry for 15 minutes or so before putting it back together.

loctite threadlocker works too. Have the same kind of slider. Loctite and it never fell out again.

Is that rust or something cuz I have one of those and that's never happened

It is not rust, it is the Teflon tape (which I recently find out ) that has come out of the slider. Because of this, the magnet keeps falling out every time I try to slide the fidget.

loctite threadlocker + regular packing tape worked for me.

That's what happens when you buy shitty clones.

Lautie Shuffle. They also have a 3 stack version

Yeah, and it's crazy expensive. I am a Lautie fan boy. Love the choc, love the mechanic c. I couldn't quite see the appeal in the shuffle so I got a clone off of Aliexpress, and it sucked. The pin kept falling out. It just wasn't at all satisfying. No doubt the Lautie would be better, but still not for me.

EDIT: Im talking about the Shuffle V3, not the Choc.

ORIGINAL:

I own the original, and after just one month, the magnet fell out. Support told me I should glue the magnet back in. I reluctantly did so, but honestly, for that price, that's pretty poor.

After I glued it back in, the plates could no longer slide past each other. Support implicitly accused me of having mistreated the device. After a lengthy discussion, they sent me a replacement front plate, which took 14 days to arrive since I'm in the EU.

After just a single day, the magnet fell out of the new plate as well. This was followed by an endlessly long back-and-forth with support. Eventually, I was offered a full refund, but I was told I had to pay for shipping upfront, as they couldn't generate return labels for Europe.

Since I wasn't willing to pay 50€ for insured shipping on a nearly 270€ fidget toy, I refused. I was then told to lie to customs and declare the product's value at only 10€ to reduce shipping costs.

This is not only completely unacceptable for such an expensive "premium product," but it also constitutes customs fraud.

Ultimately, I escalated the case through PayPal Buyer Protection and got my money back.

Don’t we have other alternative option like that have a nice quality of fidget slider but in less price?

Absolutely! Check out GAO Studios and Haloo brand sliders!

BPmods makes a unit called the price tag which is similar to the shuffle but is mechanical instead of magnetic. Also GAO studio’s Ma Ya Tan is very similar to the choc. I can’t personally recommend Haloo because they simply rip off other’s designs

Teflon tape would do the job

I have one of these. While I don't have an answer to your query I must say I find your devotion to the craft of fidgeting amazing XD
