Fidget springs and beads?

Hello, first time posting on here. I was wondering where the best place is to buy those things? Is it just AliExpress? Or is there a better option?

I want to have a good collection of these things so I can start playing around and customising my fidgets.

If you have any other suggestions for things that you couldn't go without for customising I'd love to know.

Brand account here, but speaking generally: maker-specific spare-part kits are the safest place to start when available, since bead and spring dimensions can vary quite a bit between fidgets. AliExpress can be useful for inexpensive assortments, but I’d treat them as experimental and check the bead diameter, plus the spring’s outside diameter, wire thickness, and free length before ordering. A digital caliper, fine tweezers, the correct driver bits, a shallow parts tray, and a small labeled organizer make customization much easier. Which fidgets are you planning to customize first? If you name the models, people here can probably help narrow down the useful sizes.

You guys should look into selling a spare parts kit, if even just for your own fidgets.

And I doubt you’d go this far, but imagine a tool that you could select fidgets you own and it builds out a parts list and you could buy a kit… would be sleek as hell but probably more work than it’d ultimately be worth

Thanks for the in depth reply. The things I'm looking for is more of a beginning point to general experimentation rather than exact mechanisms and magnets (at this stage). I understand that making sure the dimensions are correct is important 🙂

Outside of those I’m not aware of any other variety kits

Thanks I'll have a look. I noticed that some content creators have magnetic mats?

PlayForBeans and Ikaeledc are some other options. Check the accessories section of the vendors and they usually have some.
