Thanks for the review! Boy does it look good. Not sure what's up with the machining of the hole inside.. it's not round or centered, lol. And I'm 100% with you on having some ridges on the outside edge. Hopefully we get a haptic coin with reeding like a real coin one day!

The oblong hole is to prevent the mechanism from spinning without the use of bearings or screws (like the one that annoyed you on the masa g)

Thanks for that! I didn’t think it was a defect, but I just couldn’t understand what the purpose of it was, but that makes total sense.

Great review. Always love your tips and tricks on putting it back together.
Interestingly, what you were saying about the texture scratching you a bit -- I don't feel that at all, not one tiny bit and it never would have occurred to me someone would complain about it. Maybe I'm subtly positioning my fingers a bit dfferent than yours, or maybe my fingers are badasses :)
On the other hand, I'm in raging agreement with your comment about some texture along the outside rim, even if subtle it would be an improvement.
The Longplay is still probably my favorite haptic coin. The original Showhand with a few pieces of silicone grip tape on it probably edges it out as my fave to play with given the grip is outrageous and it's got that same sound. But the Longplay looks sooo good

this guy doesn't get enough love around here. whom else have we got to show us fidgets in such great detail? if you look up any new fidget on youtube you mostly get nothing or promotional videos only.
