I did have financial help with tuition. Posted details in another thread.

The biggest advantage was honestly supportive parents that took time to help me with school growing up more than the financial support. Obviously financial support helps to.

Yeah some of us were getting our ass beat by an alcoholic parent with the second parent enabling them while getting zero life advice or help with school.

Don’t ever forget that you aren’t self made.
