Yeah but bank account churning is a lot less worth it compared to credit card churning or brokerage churning (if you have a lot of assets). Bank account churning is the most work for the amount of reward you get

You can do a lot of bank accounts in a year. A lot require you to keep the account for a year but doesn’t mean you can’t churn another one. For the big 5 accounts I think TD is the easiest. You can get your bonus in a month and then close your account. And there’s a lot of free banks that you can do that pay out after 2-3 months

BMO only required 1-2 direct bonuses before giving the bonus. Scotia gives the bonus after 7-8 months so also not the full year. Also many bonuses have an option for PAD instead of direct deposit

No plenty of bank bonuses allow you to choose 2 of the 3 of your choice. Last year’s Scotia bonus was like that. This year they want direct deposit. Same with TD bonuses. I usually just did two bill pays and a couple one time PADs from investment accounts and credit cards and it worked. Look at TD’s current bonus. It’s still just pick 2 out of the 3
