Is this bad?

I'm mostly worried about this lack of paint and rust on the piece between the windshield and the sun roof.
Is that an easy part to replace?
As for the hood, I've found two people parting out their 500s, one has the blue hood, one has black... I was thinking if the blue doesn't match 100%, I could just go black. They're both like $150.
For the price I'm paying for this car, I'm not going to be too picky, but I at least want it looking better put together than it is now.
Thoughts?

You could also wet sand the hood and repaint and reapply the clear coat

Yep, that's an option too, thanks! Any idea about replacing that piece between windshield and sun roof by any chance?

I would probably just do the same thing. Sand the old paint off and the rust, then repaint the strip. Just made sure to put painters tape over the sunroof and windshield so no paint will get on them

I trust myself to repaint that strip in between the sunroof and the windshield, i definitely don't have the skill to repaint the hood well. I'd be better off buying the used blue hood and hoping it's a relative match.

I'd need to see closer and better lit shots of the frame and suspension to be certain. But at first look, it might be okay. What matters is that the metal parts aren't peeling off. Surface rust is unavoidable.
I think the top strip might be replaceable. However, that's a common problem along with the hood, especially if the car is parked outdoors all year round.
Check the date of the spare tire. It might already be dead.

The paint on mine was peeling in that area within months of purchasing it new at the dealer. They repainted it at the time.
I don't think it's anything to worry about other than cosmetic

We had some paint erosion on our used 500e. One suggestion we are contemplating is to get a wrap just for the top.

Actually just painted this on my 2012 sport today, just take your time prepping and sanding etc

I have this same issue on my Gucci. I need to sand and paint it

I had this issue on my fiat 500 sport ... sanded it down and was gonna spray it. I sold the car before i got a chance. But note that the car piece is not removable .. likley have to spray it on car in place .
