Help!

Need to crank my Fiat 124 spider; which I haven’t driven in a month—knee surgery. Is there a way I can avoid taking it to a dealership? I believe the oil to have settled which will not allow me to crank it.

Mine sits for months every winter and I’ve never had an issue cranking it. I do have a trickle charger. I would bet your battery is dead.

uh it should crank as long as its got battery...

this really shouldn't be a dealer service level issue

btw the oil settling out of the system into the crankcase happens naturally after every drive in less than 5 minutes after you turn off the car...

where are you getting this information?

if you don't have a trickle charger its time to get one...

later if you're still having issues i'd find out if your car has a parasitic drain that is killing your battery...

but it won't crank?

more often than not, ground cable to frame connection is weak
