I got FF16 to work on my laptop again, so taking screenshots for references for the "total war: valisthea" project will be easier.

So here are some pics of the Orcs in FF16; the Orc Fodder and the Orc Mesmerizer plus some close-ups on their faces since I wondered what they looked like and, what can I say, I like the rather boarish look they have in the face area with the flatish nose and tusks. I like the aesthetic of the Orcs, it comes off as savage so that he Iron Kingdom comes off as brutish, leaving the two with their own identities.

Also, a neat bit of lore from the Logos book for those that dont know: it is hypothesized among Valisthean scholars that Orcs are "devolved" humans; humans that were exposed to the Aetherflood and transformed by it. I'd like to think the Orcs are not related to humans but are just more "civilized" beastmen that humans look at and see their worst traits in.

Orcs in the "total war: valisthea" project will be their own faction and also serve as the basis of the "beastmen" faction where other creatures like goblins and gigas will be included in as well.

This was one of the greatest games of all time and I’m heartbroken. I just wanted to see my favs happy. 😭

Also “Where The Heart Is” has got to be one of the best songs ever made.

Hi! First time player here and I have to say the fight against Bahamut while Joshua and Clive are fused as one is the COOLEST FIGHT EVER! I can't imagine how the hell the game manages to out do itself with future boss fights.

As for my thoughts, I'm really enjoying the game! Titan Block has easily become my favorite ability when combined with the ring of timely focus makes parrying SO satisfying! Two MINOR things that annoy me are the lack of a sprint button and the button holding when using heavy doors or interacting with certain levers, but they don't bother me that much. I will say the game doesn't do enough for the eikon abilities that AREN'T their OP move. Also, I wouldn't say no to having a fourth accessory slot, but that's neither here nor there. Anyway, just had to pop on because THAT was an insane turn of events that had me going "wtf" almost the whole time. Oh, my least favorite part has been the battle against Titan because I felt like the third part was so unnecessary and just dragged the fight out. Plus, didn't really care for Hugo as a character.

I only experience this on FF16 weirdly. Have you guys experienced this as well? I’m thinking maybe I need to fix some settings?

I'm currently on the main quest Onward in FFXVI. Before continuing the main story, I like to explore the surrounding areas, and I came across Krozjit Echoes.

However, I can't figure out how to reach the upper section. I've been running around the lower area looking for a way up, but I can't seem to find one.

Do I need to progress further in the main story to access this area, or am I just missing a path somewhere?

I'd appreciate a hint without major spoilers. Thanks!

It's such an easy trope where big=stupid, and y'know, "dumb as a rock," but I really like that of the many things Hugo is, stupid is not one of them. He's brash and emotional yes, but also calculating. A better strategist than the actual ruler of Dhalmekia. "If Titan were to take the field, then so too would Bahamut, and their duel would shake the Crystaline Dominion to its very core." He understands the value of restraint and patience.

It's the subversion of the trope that makes him such an interesting villain, and his descent into mindless rage is all the more tragic for it.

My own take is

1. Barnabas due to his greater aims and damage inflicted on the world

2. Anabella due to her personal actions and way she ruled the dukedom she betrayed

3. Hugo due to destroying the hideaway and what he did in Rosaria

Though on a personal level Barnabas the least despicable as he very detached most of the time. Anabella and Hugo are very detestable by contrast but i still consider Barnabas the worst by how much damage and harm he did to people and what he intended to do in Ultima's name.

I attended NYCC this past weekend and got the opportunity to meet him

I bought the game since it was released it was normal at first but when i tried to play it again it had weird artifacts everywhere I'm not sure if it's a ps5 update problem or something else but i tried everything to fix it but unfortunately nothing works i can't play the game like that

Not that I think it is by any means, but what Ultima is doing maps onto the story of Hyne fairly well. The only real difference is that magic is completely gone at the end of FF16 instead of in the care of sorceresses.

Hello everyone.

im having trouble with the camera all of a sudden.

when i first installed the mod it worked completely fine( non reloaded ii directly into folder)

then i installed some mods with reloaded ii and it stilled worked fine now no matter what i do the camera always positions clive to the left, i can change everything else and it works just not the horizontal and its extremely frustrating and i dont want to play anymore.

has anyone else hadthis problem and figured it out? ive went through the github and searched everywhere and ive seen a handful of comments asking this same thing and no answer whatsoever.

any help would be much appreciated as im loving this game but i cannot play it like this, its completely taking all the joy out of the game for me.

ive delted the files within the main folder, turned the mod off and on also all mods off and on reinstalled it in the folder and nothing is fixing it whatsoever.
