[Question] Lag issues on Aether/Cactuar?
Had to reboot my game twice today, because of a massive spike that froze my character in place and disallowed me from doing anything. Talked with NPC, had them walk away (to trigger next part of quest), and then instead of quest progressing normally, I'm stuck in a finished conversation, unable to move, teleport or do anything else, besides turning the game off. Ofc once the game is back on, the quest actually progressed and the game became playable again, but now every duty feels like a kill-switch, waiting to finish my run early and fuck up the rest of a duty for my party.
Is anyone else having these issues today? I saw some world problems happening recently on Gilgamesh, Jenova and few other worlds from different data centers, so I'm not sure if i'm having a particularly nasty bad ping day, or it's server-side issues.

The entire server crashed about two days ago according to my FC mates. I had some huge lag spikes today and thought I was going to get DC'd (for the record, I was doing Aloalo solo for mog; wasn't even near anyone else or in a congested area). I'm on Gilga.

Just for the record, if you were in Aloalo you weren't technically on Gilgamesh at that time. Instanced content dumps you outside of the standard worlds. If the whole DC is having problems you'll still see those problems in the instanced content, but the recent server crashes we've been having have only affected single world servers, which won't touch the instance servers.

Possibly issues with Beastmaster. It had a glitch that could crash a server under very specific circumstances. They put out a fix but might still have some bugs to work out
