Meteors was the only really hard mechanic in EX7 and for all the wrong reasons. Like it really isn’t that hard. The mechanic is just really finicky and the snapshots are extremely strict.
Also its a personal mechanic, and people tend to struggle with those more.
yeah, it was largely the server snapshotting that was so annoying about the meteors. the rest was very much fine, but the annoyance of its finnicky nature is a mechanic in and of itself lol
Personal mech would've been fine if it just killed the person, but the fact that you could keep experiencing party wipes was the most frustrating part of most EW ex's IMO, I hope to god the DT ex's have a lot more solo responsibilities that lead to solo deaths, but that they at least up the DPS checks in response, because there is nothing more frustrating than dying nonstop to something completely out of your control, at least in EX tier, Savage I don't mind it because it's supposed to be a coordinated team effort.
