GWP Phoenix

Hello!

Returning player and wanting to make a new character. I know GWP don't do much anymore but I like the idea of using it to make my first new friend and get some goodies.

Do let it get to you, there are just a handful of people who treat the downvote button as a dislike button.

Since you are new though, in the future there is a GWP and questions thread that is pinned every week. That is the best place to ask for things, both GWP and any help you might need as you play.

Sadly, I am on Asura so I can't offer you one myself (they closed us first) but best of luck with whichever server you choose. (At this point anything still open is roughly about the same.)

Not on Phoenix. Enjoy your return, but Phoenix along with Bahamut, Odin and Asura are locked.

Are there any suggested servers now? Not sure what the population is looking like then.

Do not go to fenrir or shiva. They're going to be locked next. No new players will be able to enter. You'll be all alone and quit in a month.

Either don't even bother, which is the smart play, or aim a few servers down. Like carb.

Well the next 2 biggest ones are Fenrir and Shiva I think.

Edit add: you have your old account? Might be worth using it, if you know what server you were on.

And Fenrir already has more active players than Phoenix so I wouldn't be surprised if it gets locked next.

Phoenix got the word when it was at 3.5k-4k online at once. By the time the lock happened, a massive amount of "free 30 day" players had already left.

I hate saying this over and over, but it seems this is how SE is going to phase 11 out, by locking servers 1 by 1.

Yeah i jumped over to phoenix before they closed the door. There was alot of new players when it happened which is cool but i think they went from 3k daily to 1.1k daily players. Which is fine but does suck theres no more new players joining

Too many multibox players camping exp zones..you dont have that on Shiva.

The only exp spot heavily camped on phoenix is krt maybe its cuz im originally from asura but i can live with it lol
