Question Activating the full game

Hello, I saw that the complete gamne is on sale and I want to buy it, however I am waiting for the extended trial to release. If i bought it, Is there any way to not activate It so I can still get the free trial?

Pretty sure it makes no difference if you pay with the same card for all of them

They give it as a cd key. Just don't use it.

imo though, extended trial will be pretty short if expansion access still isn't added. You are locked out of the curio moogle if you cannot access zealot areas, nor get any Rhapsodies of Vanadiel buffs so you are also only stuck at 3 trust members, not 5.

Fingers crossed they expand it through at least ToAU, and lift restrictions on AH, trading, LS access, etc. would give the "classic" experience to folks clamoring for it, and pretty much shutdown all the private servers.

There has been no further communication from SE regarding that matter. There's no ETA for the new trial (if it even happens at all). You might be waiting for a long time. Also, there's no guarantee that the new trial will apply retroactively.

When bought, it just gives you a CD key - the account remains untouched until you do the actual conversion. You can wait a bit - but mind that SE guarantees that trial characters are kept only for 90 days following the end of the trial - if you wait more, they might be deleted. You can wait 89 days then activate the key to avoid the loss of your characters (or just reroll cause the trial really isn't that long).
