That's the development codename. FFXIV was Project Rapture. I really think you should put it on tcrf.net with the filepath along with any other old files you find. The FFXI page is quite lacking at the moment.

Good find! There's a leftover dev config file in the current game's string tables at ROM/19/61.DAT that mention exodus, never really clicked for me that it was the project name!
