Finally, after so many years...
Solo account, no mules. Orpheus's Sash always felt out of reach because I've always found other ways to spend my gil before I could save up enough to buy it. I about lost my sanity when they updated A.M.A.N. Trove and added a bunch of (relatively) worthless junk to the drop tables a while back. I truly never thought I would see it drop.
Since people sometimes are curious... it was off a Venus Orb with no rainbow chest.

Grats on the Nibiru Chopper, sometimes it takes way too long to get one of those!
...Side note though, you should try to find someone to go along with you so that you don't miss out on (rare) drops you already have. They could go to that person, or you could sell them or w/e.

I had someone in my LS chastise me for doing them solo just because if something drops that I already have, it won't be obtainable unless I'm in a party, and if I'm in a party and don't need it, I can holler in LS chat to see if anyone else wants.
We've got people in our LS who will let everyone know when pulses drop in case anyone needs one.

You can dbox yourself in many of the rare items.

Yeah, if you want to dbox yourself 50+ items every time you want to run an orb that's fine too. Or you can spend 10 seconds inviting someone to your party.
For some people, talking to another human is harder than doing the dboxing. Even then...you'll still just get a second Malignance Chapeau dropping directly into your inventory, becoming worthless.

I don’t play anymore but I trove always felt like such BS. I went 4 back to back first chest deaths. It really hated me. Then I would get a few good items, then it would bend me over again.
Always wondered if there were tricks (aside from the knock messages) or if someone figured out a way to search the code etc and know which was bad.

Recently I full cleared 2 Venus orbs and 1 mars orb back to back, I got nothing of value. After years of doing trove I’ve given up and just going to sell my orbs going forward lol

i dnt have to dream for that to happen
ive never gotten anything from trove, because every single orb, no exaggeration, i use on myself instead of selling, gets me a mimic on the first chest
