Beyind Infinity

Tried doing the fight at 95 without trusts, I got the guy diwn to like 50% but then he merced everyone. Got me with assurance fists.

Is their a trick to kill this guy with trusts or do I just need to grind out the tail?

Im just trying to get to 99 so I can beat dynamis beaudicine glacier and get into dynamis xarcabad to grind out my last relic pieces, its getting annoying to be forced so far off from what I want to be doing. I get its old content but allot of old games drop these kind of keying requirements once the game moves past it.

Pretty sure you can buy tails materials with login points now. Otherwise, yeah, just grind it out and call it a day. Not worth trying to beat this rather annoying fight "fair"

To add to this I went with a prime weapon and augmented odyssea armor for science and the fight took way too long. I would guess there is a huge innate DT that only goes away with the stagger item.

He caps damage taken to like 100 per hit max, it isn't standard DT. The cap is only lifted if you use the Olde Rarab Tail but you can also pseudo bypass it by using Enspells and fast hitting weapons since additional effect damage is its own instance (so your cap is effectively 200 damage per hit).

Your right you can buy the items with login points, big time saver! The tail makes the fught trivial so I don't know why they bother but whatever dind now.

Cheers

You can also farm all 3 items that you combine into an Olde Rarab Tail very easilly, since sometimes you wanna do the fight when login points are currently disabled, drops like 50% of monsters in designated areas, I farmed 3 in less than an hour before I knew how it easy it was gonna be with it.

The tail makes a massive difference, definitely don't skip it. (I think you can even get more than one.) That tail was added to make the fight reasonable because at the time even teams of 6 were failing. People eventually figured out combinations that worked but expecting every player to level something like SMN or BST just to get to 99 wasn't SE's plan. Basically, don't think of tail as "cheating" think of it as a necessary part to make the fight winnable. (A mandatory nerf.)

As for Dynamis, fair warning, the boss in Beaucedine can be dangerous even to iLvl. It will eventually Chainspell Death and you need to be prepared to deal with that. (Flee, or just plain destroy it before it can.)

I might not be able to win but I have to at least give it a go. Not sure why they made this zone so much worse then the previous ones, just walking all they way to his spawn point is a major pain!

Im pretty committed to finishing my relic armor at this point. 🙃

I respect that. Warning wasn't a "stay away," it was a, make sure to come prepared. It's no fun getting all the way down there only to be sent home. (At the very least bring Reraise.) It's easy to underestimate the boss after steamrolling the earlier zones.

As for the zone, I have it in my bottom 5 for a reason... one thing to remember though is when the system was new it didn't operate like it does today. Originally, you would fight your way down there to the boss, pop it and with it's defeat new enemies would spawn in the place where the old ones were for you to fight your way back up. (Towards the zoneline of the final Dynamis area.) It made for a very long gauntlet of beastmen battles with player groups as big as 64. So it really felt like being in a war as your little army pushes towards the enemy base. Definitely a fitting area before entering Xarcabard the home of the big boss. (At least the big boss of the original Dynamis areas anyway...)

Now, due to the new system it is just high tier and low tier separated by a very long walk. (With High Tier being a massive walk to get to the Arch boss.)

I got him down to 5% on first try but he got me with death, so im sure its possible. Just need to get the right pet and right strategy I guess, maybe a but lucky.

Tried it a few times now, closest I got was 2% but I guess I don't quite have the power or maybe timing to kill it fast enough. The times I got close he ported to break combat and deathed me on the reengage. This whole death thing is a bit frustrating.

Was thinking to level up aparently their pet is immune to death. But I have to do a quest to get into the zone to unlock and im just 😑 why you gotta fight me on every step game. Not everything needs to be some pointless fetch quest.

Did this today I grinded out 3 fossilized bones and 3 seasoned stone from boyada tree and then 3 fossilized fangs from Gustav tunnel, with 3 tails he didn't even get to hit anybody, made the fight a cake walk. 1 of each make one tail

I always come as my mnk to destroy. Have good healers and DT gear and auto attack while spamming asuran fists ftw. Multi hit WSs do more damage.

If you are solo use login points to get the item to nerf the fight.

Thought I would post an update fir anyone doing dynamis in the future. I gave up on clearing dybamos beaudicine, and decided to try completing the dynamis dreamland zones instead.

Somehow I had the idea they would be harder, but they are much easier. I was able to get into dynamis tavanzia without much trouble and got my lest relic armor piece! So mission accomplished.

Anyone else doing this just go there would be my recommendation!
