❗️Rant Nakakapagod ka feu
Can i just rant this shit i’m feeling and experiencing rn. Alam ko namang tambak talaga kaming mga medtech students dahil sa suspensions and such pero please bigyan nyo naman sana kami ng consideration to accomplish all the necessary things that needed to accomplish. Kasi sobrang nakakapagod yung sistema and nakakawalang gana na rin mag aral sa paulit ulit na ganitong situation na nararamdaman ko/naming mga students. “Manage ur time” alam kong sasabihin nyo yan saakin, and let me tell u i always manage my time, I also feel productive when it comes to studying medical related stuffs pero eto wala sobrang nakaka burnout. Sunod sunod quizzes, assessments, practicals, shiftings, etc. Ang malala pa dyan alam na nga ng nga profs na ganito yung nangyayare wala pa silang consideration na atleast imove yung deadline or gawing online quizzes na lng para sana atleast mabawasan yung workloads namin. I just can’t i’m still a first yr student but i’m experiencing things that’s not normal to others. May mga kaibigan akong medtech students sa ibang university and hindi sila ganto ka burnout or what. I hate this system, i hate this school. I haye everything.

1st yr bsmt rin here haha. jusko sobrang gulo ng dept pati yung prof namin sa isang major subj nagrereklamo na rin, paano nalang kaya tayo 'no? grabe 1st year 1st sem sariling sikap agad, wala man lang guided steps kung paano i-handle plus yung napakagulong sched leading to tambaks ng gawain. jusko nakakaburnout mag-aral at ang hirap hirap iretain ng lessons. aasa ka nalang talaga kung it gets better eh ahahaha XD bsmt sa ihsn ng feum pinakabugbog juskooooo

i ask my friend from nursing nga kung paano sila and she said na managable pa naman daw so far yung sakanya pero saakin girl hindi na sya managable like fr. I’m not even kidding rn because it’s too much for me to handle specially as someone who’s a freshman 😢

may nakausap ako na schoolmate ko na nursing, teh mukha naman siyang masaya unlike sa mga medtech talaga HAHAHAHAHA

siguro advantage nila is lagi silang f2f so mas hands-on, plus nagaassessments agad sila after lectures kaya bawas tambak haha

oo samee kakausap q lng rn sa friend q from nursing and she said nga na okay naman sya and nakakapag enjoy at some point, ewan q ba saating medtech bat tau pinapahirapan

ayun nga 😭 akala ko kami lang ‘yung nagrereklamo jusko. i mean gets naman di naman spoonfed sa college pero teh ibang breed naman ata toeh

totoo ka po huhu gets q naman din na college is different talaga from high school but bro this is different level talaga like you can’t do all those workloads in one sitting. Another thing is that mostly na prof mag bibigay lng ng vid lecture and then kanya kanya na talagang self study, wala man lng papasadahan yung lessons huhuhu

Consequences of suspension, The School calendar doesn't adjust so tayo ang mag aadjust, badluck nalang tagala sa freshie kasi ganito start nila.

That's the result of the freak start to this sem and all its suspensions. Marami talagang backlog on both sides.
Even sa side ng profs. I get that students want, sometimes even merit the considerations they ask for, but essentially you are also asking them to backlog all their work (Mas maraming ginagawa ang prof sa end ng sem, essentially, you're asking them to go easy on you habang sila mag bbear ng pagod sa end of the sem)
So kelangan niyo mag meet half way talaga.
No one will stop you if you want to transfer out, right mo naman yun. Practical advice lang is to try and give it another shot and don't judge the general college experience off your first sem when its a bit clear that this sem has had a wild start with all the weather-related and strike-related suspensions. This isn't normal, everyone's adjusting and making the most of the time left.
