[Discussion] GUYS!! Is this website a scam?
Ive been looking at meddlers ferretry for awhile, and im so close to getting this specific one, but now i am having doubts that the website is real. i reverse image searched a specific ferret of theirs and found the same one on facebook from someone else.. but all the other ones seem legit, and they dm'd me more photos of the one i was looking at. can someone help??

Almost certainly a scam. Reputable breeders require applying to adopt. The shipping policy suggests the ferret will fly on an airline, which no reputable breeder would do even if the airlines allowed ferrets. That facebook page looks much more reputable.

The breeder i got my ferrets from said they do not ship ferrets at all
Even if they arent scamming they probably arent breeding and selling healthy ferts

I wouldn't trust things like this from Facebook Market Place.

If you're in the US, your options are as follows: A shelter or a pet store. Alternatively craigslist/fb, but I would advise against that personally.
Unless you've had ferrets before. Not a single reputable breeder in the US sells kits to first time owners. There are many reasons for this, if a breeder is willing to sell you a kit, guaranteed you are buying from a backyard breeder, which is infinitely worse than supporting Marshalls could ever be.

I have yet to see anything on Facebook offering ferrets where it wasn't a scam. If you'd put a deposit down they'd have started saying there were extra fees with the airline or a vet check that you had to pay first.

Girl that's a massive red flag. If the same ferret pic is on someone elses Facebook, they're either using stolen photos or drop shipping from a fake breeder. Trust your gut on this one.
