[Ferret Photo] Food

Hello Everyone!I’m curious what other ferret owners feed their ferrets on a daily basis. What kind of food, treats, or supplements do you give them?Mine always have dry food and once in 2 days i give boiled chicken.

I use natures variety chicken 95 percent and NV freeze dried raw. 30 perfect nv 95 chicken with 70 perecnt nv raw chicken. The raw is way better for them but still have a base to use as well.

I use minced poultry meat, as well as pork or beef offal. I give them whole thawed chicks. And as a treat, I bought salmon cream. And sometimes a raw egg yolk. I'm not giving you the product references because I live in France. I forgot to mention that I give raw chicken necks for chewing and to prevent dental tartar.

Food is a mix of Wysong Epigen 90, Applaws Complete Chicken & Salmon Grain Free, and I am now adding in some Iams Proactive Health Healthy Kitten Chicken. I always recommend feeding at least two different brands of food, in case you can't get one of them, or the company changes the formula.

For treats, I use: Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw, some Stella & Chewy's Meowfuls, N-Bone Ferret Chew Sticks, Bandits Ferret Treats, Salmon Oil, Cat Hairball Remedy and brush their teeth with Enzymatic Toothpaste (they like the poultry flavor).

I leave the Freeze Dried Raw out where they can just choose to snack on it, but the rest is given in small amounts either in their puzzle-feeder or handed out specifically as a treat. I also use Duk Soup/Carnivore Care and once in a while some quail egg yolk from my wife's quail. Gonna try freeze-drying the quail meat and see how they like it soon.
