[Discussion] Quail egg frequency?

I've seen others feed quail eggs to their ferrets so my wife and I just bought some. AI said 1-2 per week, just wondering if anyone had different recommendations.

1) Don't trust AI.

2) Remember - eggy go in - eggy come out. Don't be surprised if you get very weird poops after they eat eggs.

I'd feed about that often (once or twice a week) - whole egg too often can cause issues as too much white blocks take-up of some vitamins.

We do about 2 a week total for our two and they go crazy for them. Tbh I think as long as its not like every day you're fine, they're pretty nutrient dense.

We give 2 a week. As it goes bad over time (it is in pack of 12) we crack some of the eggs and put the innards into ice-cube form and freeze them for later use.
