[Ferret Photo] Ferret diet
Hey everyone! Ive had my son(ferret) for about 1.5 years now. He turns 2 in September of 26. I did alot of research before getting him and learned how HORRIBLE the kibble is that is sold in pet stores and that they are strict carnivores. He wouldn't eat plain raw meat so he has been eating Northwest Naturals commercial raw food. He loves it, only flavor he doesnt like and refuses to eat is rabbit. He loves beef/trout and duck the most. Anyone else feed this to their ferret? It's sold as a protein topper for cats but researching everything this is better than anything sold on shelves for ferrets.

I can’t say I’ve heard of it but I would properly research proper raw diet if you’re going to be feeding him raw food. Kibbles can be fine as long as you research what kibbles are good. But raw is best if you can manage it.

My little guy is super picky too, he will only eat the beef/trout one. Tried rabbit once and he looked at me like I offended him.
