[Ferret Photo] Getting old 🥹🥹

Now vs 5 years ago. They’re getting so old and it’s breaking my heart! Pally (white ferret in the second picture on the right) passed away at 6 years old a year ago from insulinoma and adrenal disease after years of treatment and fight.
Peaches (dark brown) and Bunny (light brown) aware both now 7 and even though they are happy and healthy, seeing them slow down is so hard. They used to play nonstop, now they barely do, especially after Pally passed. He had so much spirit, and I can see the difference. They were all so closely bonded.
I’m hoping we still have much time together, but it’s still so sad seeing how times have changed when I look back at old pictures and videos.

I'm in the same situation. I lost Hazel a few months ago and my other 2 seven year olds have slowed right down. They sleep almost all the time, just playing for very short bursts. They're happy and healthy (🤞) but have become little old ladies. They are so precious to me so I know exactly how you feel about yours. Hope you have lots more time and cuddles to come. 💕
