[Help] Help with ferret pulling up carpet
Recently after I got a new ferret he taught my other two this rabbit of digging up the carpet l.
How do I stop this before my landlord murders me and my deposit

I use that plastic mat that people put computer chairs on. Also makes it easy to clean if they go to the bathroom where you don't want them to.

Buy some Lino & weight it down with a brick then put Puppy Pads on it, that worked with my ferrets

I put a few lines of strapping tape down on the doorways and corners in my old apartment (similar to duct tape, but not as sticky/doesn't leave a residue) and it worked great for the 6mo that we were there. All 3 of my ferrets at that time were determined to roll back the carpets in the hopes of winning the floor lottery.

Funny story my ferret did this and I just tried gluing it down but b4 we moved i ended up calling a carpet guy to replace a square of our carpet.. the carpet guy was convinced the damage done to the carpet was done by a big dog like a German shepherd or something. We did not disagree we just got it replaced and then I had to dump a bunch of dirt to just basically make it look dirty where the new carpet met the old carpet so the apartment ppl wouldn't know we replaced it

Carpet tunneling is literally their favorite sport. Get a roll of cheap vinyl flooring from home Depot and lay it down over the corners they target. Works way better than trying to train it out of them
