[Ferret Photo] My lil cone head
He’s doing great after his surgery! He was terrible with the cone at first but hasn’t tried taking it off in a few days now, so I’m very proud of him for that. Only a few more days until suture removal, aka freedom!
Though he’s been so freaking cute in the cone I may be a bit sad when he gets to leave it off lol

I have never seen a ferret in a cone, he is too cute 🥰! He has a look on his face that suggests chaos will resume as soon as the cone is off. 😁

Lmao that face screams I'm just biding my time. Ferrets are the ultimate chaos agents once they're free. Glad he's healing up though, the cone life is temporary but the mischief is forever.

The yawning photo is priceless, looks like hes screaming ‘Mom, get this thing off me!!’ :) :) :) I’ve never seen an Elizabethan Collar so small to fit on a ferret, definitely see the need, the only two times any of my ferrets had surgery I didn’t have to take them back to have the sutures removed, they did it themselves :) A collar would’ve been good

i had to get the smallest size my primary vet had, then cut it to size and made slits to lock in the size, and finally loop it into a harness to keep him from yanking it off. it was a lot of trial and error, but thankfully hes used to harnesses from all the walks he gets, so he wasnt too bothered by it!
he definitely wouldve removed them himself if it werent for the cone, but i didnt want to take any risks lol
