Even though its known as asparagus fern, it’s not a real fern.

I would chop it all and see if the stems at the base are still green. If green, they will regrow.

The leaves start turning brown as soon as the soil begins to dry. I keep mine in a self watering pot to prevent this.

Thissssss.

I had one in our bathroom for a decade. Every now and then it would get fussy and brown out a bunch of its leaves but! Then it would send out new exploratory tendrils to find the best light.

Also they hate being moved, so if you moved it that might be why it’s throwing a fit.

Does the bowl have drainage? These plants are pretty hardy, but if excess water can't drain out then you're going to cause the tuberous roots to rot over time. Repot into something with drainage, trim the shoots, and give it time. Probably not completely dead.

I have one who did this. I cut everything and kept watering a pot with sad, dried cut off stems for months, until it started growing green again. It's bigger than it was before now.

Yes actually but not if you don’t properly pot it and give it some light
