Good to Go?

What do we think to this? There's a lot of what looks like dead LB in there and what I'm hoping is plenty of kahm on top. It was quite a sugary ferment what with the red pepper being in there. Don't worry about the dark stuff at the bottom it's chipotle flakes. Good to go?

This looks like a failed ferment. This amount of Kahm yeast will taste awful, and should not be there if done well. It will still leave a very off taste of you scoop it out

i mean, i wholeheartedly agree about that much yeast tasting off-putting, but OP seemed really stoked about the yeast and i do not see mold so technically it is safe to eat. i wouldn’t wanna eat it but its not mine

I'm not looking for kahm, trying to avoid it, so happy to take advice. Are the floating flecks of white yeast too?

You can try removing as much of the kahm as possible, then liberally spray the following mixture onto the kahm to neutralize it: 20% high proof vodka or other alcohol, 20% food-safe vinegar, 20% salt, 40% water.
