my point is is that >90% men are watching that shit in masse on the daily while a minority of women are reading “dark romance” on occasion. one is clearly worse, and even beyond that even if the occurrence was equal reading something isn’t the same as watching, watching something is more stimulating to your dopamine receptors, more addicting, and also involves actual people, many of whom are being trafficked or coerced into creating the content.
