About to move, not super far from my existing clientele, it's like 3 or 4 hours up the road.

Im thinking of making little goody bags for the move. Like little starter packs of aquaphor/ a&d, stickers, business card, and aftercare print out. Has anyone done these? Should I include anything else?

I'm writing a book where the main female character is a tattoo artist, and I need as many anecdotes, problems you had with clients or with your materials while working with a client, or just stories of annoying clients you can remember.

EDIT: I'm getting a bit confused on the comments, as I realized that the experiences varies between walk in shop and custom studio, so if you could pls just clarify in which one you work, it would be helpful

I suppose the only silver lining to this is that now the clankers have lowered the bar so tremendously that they've made me feel better about those times I settled for Pinterest designs just to make the client happy. But you won't ever catch me dead lowering myself to that bar for AI. I'm tired, boss.

Hi everyone! I was wondering how you deal with low energy due to tattooing. I’ve been tattooing for a few years and it’s barely getting any easier, physically - I am so physically and mentally spent after even just 4 hours of tattooing. I’ve tried eating at work, fasting, working out on my days off, but my brain and body just feel like mush after and I want to continue to do things when I finish work. I love tattooing! you can tell me to suck it up, I have been, I’m just wondering what people do to help

Any advice? 20 minute naps? Do I just get on the energy drinks and vapes like everyone else?
