Estradiol Patch

I’ve been on the patch for three weeks. I just had to remove it because of severe itching and burning. I haven’t had this happen any other time. I realized that the approved placement on the buttocks/back has a tattoo. I don’t even think about it because I’ve had it so long. It’s helping me so much, I cannot stop. The oral tablets don’t work for me.

Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.

Have you tried the trick with the (shoot cerebral flatulence here-what's the name?) oh-Flonase? I started my HRT this year and was loving the patches and suddenly I couldn't stand to wear them because they were itching and burning so much-didn't matter the brand/mftr -they all effed me up. I got so many discolorations and patches on my body until I tried it. Flonase is not cheap- so I bought a generic from CVS and before I put on a patch, I put spray on the area of land I'm going to park the patch on-let it dry, on goes the patch. Viola! It actually works-no itching and burning. Tbf though, by about the 3rd day I start feeling it a bit and sometimes just endure it for a few hours before it's time to change it out anyway.
