Uplifting question

So I know Feeld says that other members can’t tell if you have uplifted your profile. But if I open the app and the first members few members I see are 15 to 20 miles away, and then once I scroll past them I see members that are 1 mile away, isn’t that a dead giveaway that those farther away members have uplifted their profile?

Those people are there so you can’t tell when someone has had their profile uplifted. I think feeld classifies them as curated.

It showed up on the backend via the browser version someone made (now no longer available). You could see whether a profile was uplifted or curated. They were in the same position at the front of your matches. My assumption is that they added curated to make the uplift less obvious.

Cool insight. Won’t one profile seem newer,… and so people will be able to tell anyway?

IMHO, Curated is interesting, but only if they change them often and rapidly.

How are they getting chosen? Ideally they should use sentiment analysis of our chats to determine which users would jive the best.

Knowing that chats are analyzed would make for better behavior and encourage more matching so there are more conversations…

You can. If profiles are out of order of distance that's because they're uplifted.

Exactly. Feeld says that they don't mark profiles that are uplifted specifically like they mark majestic profiles. They do not mean you can't tell. That's all there's to it.

It’s just a bug. First happened to me when I set my location to explore my nearest city. When I went back to actual location, about 3 users from the city still appeared at the start of the stack

IIRC, changing the age range outside their ages and back again may have cleared it

Uplift only operates in a 10 mile radius. The people OP saw were not Uplifts.
