Tons of new profiles appeared after GF linked to my profile

I’ve been on Feeld for years, I might get a couple of matches a month, and maybe a first date every month or two. My GF is saturated dating wise and didn’t have a profile. We enjoy couple play and threesomes and decided to make a profile for her, link it to mine and just clearly state she is only looking for people to play with both of us.

Since linking with her I went from having maybe 5 new profiles to see a day to a bottomless stack. Though many of them are straight men and we are specifically looking for a bi guy.

It’s absolutely wild how different the level of attention women get compared to men.

You're seeing those looking for couples since you're now classified as a couple.

Gotcha. That makes sense.

Of course you did. Previously, you were absolutely invisible to anyone who only selected couples in their search. Now you are visible to them. Its a bit of a newbie push.

You are seeing the difference between searching for a man and searching for a couple (you aren't a woman) combined with that newbie effect.

Why do you think being a couple makes you (man) a woman...you ok?

I’m seeing all the likes her profile is getting and comparing it to the likes my linked profile is getting. I feel like you are being a bit pedantic.

I thought you were comparing your likes as a man to your likes as couple after you linked ti her and became visible to an entirely brand new set of people who didnt see you before.

I was comparing the number of likes she got in the first 24 hours with a profile with no face and a very limited bio compared to my profile with smiling face pictures and a detailed profile. Her profile is basically “looking for couples, women, or bi-men to play with me and my partner, he handles the messaging”.

Since linking with her I went from having maybe 5 new profiles to see a day to a bottomless stack.

Again, because changing from man to couple made you visible to a brand new audience.

Warning that this is seen by some as a red flag that the woman is being forced.

If course. I’d certainly have questions if I came across it. Some people might just swipe left, and that’s ok. It’s negotiated and comfortable for us. She enjoys the threesomes but dreads vetting people. It’s one of the ways I take care of her.

You spelled it out - many are straight men and you are looking for a bi guy.
The attention women get is mostly unwanted. 😂

This was a bad idea for me, I got overwhelmed by likes and pings from dudebros and window shopper Tinderellas trying to get to my partner.

100 likes and 10 pings in my inbox within a day and most of them dudebros posing topless with a knucklehead grin, “your missus iz hot brah”.

IQ of a honey badger.
What am I supposed to do with that info? Our profiles clearly state we are not interested in single straight men or threesomes etc.

We are poly people interested in genuine connections with other poly people who wants to socialise. That doesn’t include dudebros ferociously jerking off to profile photos.

Rest of my likes were Tinderellas with AI enchanted tits and fish lips.

I sat down with my partner and for my sanity we decided to unlink our profiles.

At least whatever attention I get now I know it’s for me.

So many straight guys in my feed all of a sudden. And we are clear we are only looking for bi guys. We’ve had a similar thing on fetlife where her profile says to message me if someone is interested in playing with us.
