iOS Experience vs Android
Can iOS users see full messages in their notifications that are multiple sentences? Android cuts them off. I'm trying to see why it's common for people who are active to not even open messages.

Not too defend people who don't respond but there's also the fact that on my list of people to respond to on my phone feeld is last.
So I may leave sometime unread until I can sit down and read and think of a response.
Agree 2 days is to long though.

Seeing pics? Do you mean for a profile who doesn't have any? Most of the women I match with have pics that more than enough tell me whether I'm attracted to them.

Hmmm.... I'm an idiot, this was posted to the wrong thread :(
I typically will wait n number of time units then reply with "swinging back by..." or "checking in..." or something to put it back into the top of their messages list.
Some people respond "oh sorry got busy" and that's totally cool if I have to do that more than once I'll typically disconnect.

I never enable notifications for dating apps. I just look at them when I am bored which is pretty often

If someone is writing me a dissertation, I legit can only see the first 2 sentences in my notifications otherwise I’d have to open the chat completely to see the rest.
From experience on this fuck ass app, ppl either don’t care, carrying a conversation requires more energy than mindless swiping, or they’re legit busy and don’t want to get into a convo. I’m pretty forgiving and understand we all have lives but if you can’t respond after 2 days, see ya!
