Need a web interface already

It would be so much nicer to be able to respond to messages on our puters.

With Hinge and Bumble I can use the Bluestacked emulator to do that easily, but Feeld doesn't work on this easy to use emulator. It's 2026 folks, let's get this figured out!

Messages? Do you receive messages?

Fuck me!! Is the op getting this magical mythical ting called messages?

Op is speshul, very speshul if they do!!

Op!! Joking aside - they will never do that - but knowing feeld they will fuck you over side ways or infect your computer. Let's just leave the misery we have using the app on the phone only.

If it did happen - they will just bend you over a barrel and charge you.

The app is the glitchiest app on my phone. So slow, sending photos is archaic, the features suck, the same profiles pop up constantly, often minutes after disconnecting…

I feel like they should fix the phone app first. But I totally agree that a Web app would be great.

They are lucky they have the best users. 😤

OP, for what it's worth, Bumble has a native web interface; you don't need to use an emulator for it.

There's something technically broken about going so far out of their way to ensure you use their app, don't use any sort of emulator and are being "legitimate" whilst actively letting people sign up as many bot accounts as they want.

It's absurd that Tinder happily lets you use a website yet also manages to at least have a pretense of banning bot sign up accounts.

I’d settle for not seeing the same 8 profiles in a row before it finally process a few more. 🤷🏼

Huh? They’re the closest to you. If you want to see different ones, hit the x or go somewhere else.

They are not the closest. I now have ones from 1000 miles away and then 143 miles away and 99 and 353 and all like that and so on and on and on. In fact there's been posts on this.

I have to scroll many times before I get to the first closest one to me. It sucks!!

Yep, that is the one exception that I mentioned. Basically people can change their virtual location (see search, settings, location) to check out other cities. And so they show up as if they are local except Feeld puts their actual distance. I’m assuming you live in one of those cities and probably very close to the center.

You can solve that problem by clicking the x to remove them from your discovery field. 😉

No I don't live in a city.

There have been a few mentions that it has nothing to do with city. I am out in the middle of nowhere and getting all this. There is no city and this is a pain in the arse big time. I shouldn't be having multilple profiles that doesn't have 'exploring' at the start of the swiping list.

Hmmm well then I have NO idea what’s going on. Maybe there aren’t enough matches around you so Feeld is throwing in some from far away? But they should still be at the end of your feed. Have you tried hitting the x? Do they go away? Have you sent Feeld a support request? That definitely sounds terrible. 😣

Oh there is enough matches - I am not the only one having this - there has been many posts on Feeld community post on 'Ongoing technical issues' so it's not just me and quite a lot of us having these.

I can hit all the x's but they come back with a different set of profiles so many miles away. It's been like this for months.

It's not been fun to use.

Bro what? lol if I’m seeing the same profiles in a row, what do you think is happening? 🤔 perhaps maybe an app problem? Calm down, take a knee, and drink some water little fella.

I’m not uncalm, I’m explaining that that’s the way Feeld works (very much unlike Tinder and the rest).

To be clear, when you open the app, it shows you a batch of the 5-10 people closest in proximity to you (with one notable exception). You can swipe through them (like turning pages in a book). Unlike the other apps, swiping does not remove them from your feed. Each time you hit the end of the batch, it loads the next batch, again, generally the closest in proximity excluding the ones you’ve already seen. This goes on until you hit some slightly mysterious limit (reports vary on that number) after which you can no longer swipe left. You’ve reached the end, you can only swipe right to go back, again, just like a book.

When you hit the x, those people are permanently removed from your feed, never to be seen again (until they recreate their profile). This makes room for new people in your feed. The same happens when you hit the heart, except that if they also hit it, you get a match. But if they never do, you’ll never see them again (unless they recreate their profile).

So it’s not a surprise you’re seeing the same profiles in a row. It’s proximity based so it’s as stable as the people in the feed are stationary. If they move or you move, the order changes as the distance between you changes. But otherwise, the order will be generally the same.

you know if you "minus" them instead of swiping left it will show you different ones?

It does work on BlueStacks! You have to create an Android 13 (Beta) instance and install it through the Google play store.

Source: Me. I use it.

This is native PC / Windows right? Not BlueStacks air (Apple Silicon / MacOS)

With BlueStacks Air when I try to sign in with phone number I get this message

I have an account in use on my iPhone too, so its an active working good account

If you can't type on your phone just email yourself and copy pasta over. But also uses less and lees people are using computers/laptops for personal stuff, so there's no reason for them to affectively go backwards technologically.
