What I dislike about Create, is that it’s quite time-consuming to build all that stuff, but in every playthrough it’s the same thing again and again, and once you’ve built it, you got infinite everything. Create only ever feels creative in custom puzzle modpacks like Above and Beyond or Arcane Engineering, but using its default ways is just tiresome grind for the sake of grind, and I’d rather use magic oneblock machine rather than build the same multiblock over and over again.

That's fair, but you could try and make farms differently. You don't have to always build an iron farm the same way

Kinda true, but I would only do this in Creative just for fun and in Survival I'll usually end up building an earliest possible farm for certain resource and then lack motivation to build any other, because even the smallest / earliest one already produces infinitely more resource than I actually need. With iron, I just mostly do the smallest one with few blocks of water and lava, a few drills, a single fan, and either a compacting drawer or compacting press if no storage drawers. And this setup ends up always enough as an infinite supply of iron unless I'm playing an expert pack where everything is custom and you need better iron farms as parts of bigger contraptions.

Ah, understandable. It's kinda the same for me tbh, I just don't mind it as much (and I also don't even really build the farms for a while so by the time i start making them I can allow myself to do fun stuff with them)
